Tata Sky offers” STAR WORLD Channel at just Rs5 for the first month” “promotional” offer on STAR WORLD A LA Carte Channel – It’s a 1 Day Promotion Offer ("Promotion") offered on Tata Sky, wherein Tata Sky Residential subscribers subscribing to the STAR WORLD Channel ("STAR WORLD”) on 4-Aug 2012 shall be entitled to receive STAR WORLD channel at Rs5 for the first month of subscription, after the completion of first month, the channel becomes chargeable at Rs20 pm from second month onwards.

All Tata Sky subscribers (hereinafter referred to as “You”) who avail of this offer shall be bound by the following terms and conditions:

Definitions

"Active account status" means a positive account balance in your Subscriber Account.

"Promotion Day": 4 August 2012

Eligibility

The Promotion is open ONLY to Tata Sky subscribers with an Active account status.
You must have subscribed to STAR WORLD Channel on the Promotion Day.
The following persons cannot avail this Promotion:

Employees and relatives of Tata Sky;
Tata Sky business associates including its dealers and advertising agencies; and
Anyone else who may be involved with the Promotion.
Subscribers already holding STAR WORLD A LA Carte Channel
Subscribers holding English Entertainment Pack
Subscribers holding STAR WORLD Channel in their Base Pack
Subscribers, who already have STAR WORLD Channel or English Entertainment Pack and drop it on the offer day and again subscribe to it in order to avail the offer, shall not be entitled to receive the offer benefits.

Tata Sky reserves the right, at any time, to verify eligibility requirements, in any manner deemed appropriate.
Subscribers, who drop and add the channel on the promotion day in order to avail the benefit, shall not be entitled to receive the offer benefits.

Modes of availing the Promotion:

You may avail the Promotion by subscribing to the STAR WORLD Channel on the Promotion Day by the following way:
SMS: By sending a SMS – add stwo to 56633 from Your Registered Mobile Number or Call the Helpline
The Price of the STAR WORLD A LA Carte Channel is Rs20 pm and you can get it for only Rs5 for the first month by subscribing the channel on the promotion day.
There will be no refunds/credits made to Your subscription account on You subscribing to the STAR WORLD Channel on the Promotion Day itself.
Everyday 0.66 paisa will be deducted from your account for 30 days.
After 30 days, Credit of Rs15 will be passed into your account.
The pack stays chargeable at Rs20 per month after the first month of subscription is over. No cash refunds shall be made under any circumstances whatsoever.
Tata Sky reserves the right at any time, without prior notice, to add or vary all or any of these terms and conditions or to replace, wholly or in part this Promotion or to withdraw it completely.
Tata Sky will not be liable for any loss, damage or cancellation of this Promotion caused by events beyond its reasonable control including war, natural calamities, floods, failure of telecommunication network etc.
You acknowledge and agree that all disputes in relation to this Promotion shall be subject to exclusive jurisdiction of courts of Mumbai.
Tata Sky is not responsible for printing or typographical errors in any Promotion related materials; or for transactions that are lost, misdirected, fail to enter into the processing system, or are processed, reported, or transmitted late or incorrectly or are lost for any reason including computer, telephone, paper transfer, mail system, human or other error; or for electronic, computer, or telephonic malfunction or error, including inability to access the Tata Sky website or process any transaction thereon.
